Be True To Yourself

Visual branding is often an afterthought that is crammed into your website, social media, and marketing in a last-minute rush. Sure, everyone knows you need a logo and a nice headshot. But that is often where the actual branding ends.

Remember, nothing sustained means nothing is gained. Think about all of the content you personally consume and passively take in. What stays with you after you’ve moved on? Often, it is the frequency of the message coupled with it’s authenticity that makes certain people and campaigns stand out from others.

The ability of branded visuals to make potential customers feel a connection, a mutual desire, or the potential to achieve a goal is the key. We live in a visual world, and conveying who you are with intentionally-produced imagery is crucial to pull your potential clients in for a larger conversation on how you can help or serve them.

After years of working with large companies, corporate marketing departments, and multi-layered advertising agencies, I came to realize I was most passionate about helping smaller businesses and individuals accomplish their own branding goals. Many of the same rules apply, but refining my focus has made me even better and happier at what I do.

Good visual branding is your creative cheat code to stand out in a sea of the same.

That is why I am looking to be the creative partner you need as you follow your passion and define your own future. It has been my life’s work to become skilled and efficient at working with everyday people to tap into their confidence and creativity. Together, we focus on what makes you and your business unique, and how can we illustrate that in a way that attracts clients to you.

I’ve been doing this photography thing for over twenty-five years, That means lots of firsthand experience developing and shooting visual branding projects for clients ranging from national brands to regional corporations, and for so many health care systems, ad agencies, universities, and restaurants, law firms, musical acts, and entrepreneurs. All of these clients have put their trust in me.

I may be a laid-back and fun-loving kind of person, but that trust is something I take very seriously. I grew up in a small town in the Adirondacks, where everyone knew who was who. You were essentially visually branded before you even knew what that was.

Fast forward many years. We now live in a visual world, where almost everyone has a global platform readily available. This degree of connection makes it even harder to stand out and be heard. Luckily, there are also unprecedented methods to connect with people and business in a very targeted and location specific manner.
